Scared

My girl woke up this morning and discovered my face is looking really big. She called the oncologist who wasn't in today and was able to speak with someone else. That doctor suggested that the tumor may be preventing the lymph nodes from draining and causing my face and neck to fill up with fluid. I have an appointment a little later at my regular vet office to see if there is anything that can be done to help me. I'm really scared.

UPDATE:
The vet did agree that my head was probably full of fluid from the lymph node not being able to drain. More than likely from how I was sleeping. It's mostly gone away now and I look normal. I'm breathing a lot better too. Unfortunately, it could very well happen again since the tumor is rather big. The vet suggested using a heat compress on my neck next time. I'm just so happy to be back to normal. My girl and boy were so worried about me.

Ohhh Domi, you are such a beautiful girl. Perhaps your girl or boy can hold your head up while you sleep? I mean really now, that's the least they can do for someone as special as you are.

Lots of licks and crossed paws coming from our house to yours!

Woo!

Hi Domi, our good furiend Huffle told us about you, so we came to say hi. We hope you are feeling better. We know all about cancer and how hard it can be - we just lost our sisterpup about two weeks ago, and now Phantom has to have some surgery this week to check out some lumps he has. Tough getting old, but we think you are very beautiful. We are also from the Midwest.

Hi Domi!!

It's so nice to woof you. I hear that you have been having some challenges lately and wanted let you know that we've got our paws crossed for you.

To bad that you live so far away from us (we're in the Midwest too but in MN). You sound like the type of dog that I like to be friends and play with(I'm not a big fan of being sniffed either)

Woof ya Later!!

Hello Domi, my friend Huffle told me about your blog. I sure hope your vet can help you with your cancer. It's never any fun to be sick. Maybe you could sleep in the bed with your human. That way you can be nice and comfy.

Sending healing vibes your way.
